Campus Security and Public Safety
Greetings!
The Chubb Institute is a community of over 7,000 persons living, working, and studying on campus. At CI we believe that the security of our campus is a responsibility shared by all members of the community. Security awareness and crime prevention are traits which serve to protect individuals and the community as a whole. When all members of the community learn and demonstrate these traits, a safer living and learning environment is created. As a member of the CI community you have a special relationship with the University. The Jesuit tradition of education embraces the concept of "cura personalis," that is, the care and concern for the dignity of the whole person.
As part of the Student Development division, the CI Campus Security & Public Safety Department supports the educational and developmental mission of the office of the Vice President for Student Development. We encourage you to join us in our efforts to provide a safe and caring environment in which living, learning, and working can take place most productively.
